Hunting has been my life since I was a small boy. Duck hunting the great rivers and back through the rice fields of Arkansas, to the duck breeding grounds of Canada. Hunting has brought me to some great places in my life. Through the years all of my Ol’ huntin buddies always brought along these amazing animals to retrieve long distances through rain, sleet and snow. They showed such drive. These images made such an impact on me, and boy did I enjoy watching these dogs work. I have gotten to share these moments with my family and friends. Always by my side was my best friend, my dog.
Training that first pup brought me to understand the importance of discipline, drive, respect and perseverance. I had found my passion!
Fate have it, the home of Grand Prairie Retrievers was established. I wanted to provide a service where hunters could experience the difference between having a well trained hunting partner and a lifetime friend to be proud of.
God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two wonderful children, Madison and Landon. Madison is ten years old and Landon is one. They all love dogs as much as I do and play a very significant part in Grand Prairie Retrievers. My family and I provide your dogs extra attention just like you give them at home. It is our goal for our facility to be your dog's "home away from home".
